"Our new toilets have certainly been a great success. The children love the fact that they helped to design them and the fabulous designs have encouraged them to look after them and keep them looking like new. The replacement of paper towel dispensers with hand dryers has been a great improvement as this used to cause lots of problems with wet towels thrownon the floor. Also we are pleased that as a school we are contributing to our commitment to save water and paper with the new toilets and dryers that have been installed."

"When you are only four years old using the bathroom independently and developing your personal hygiene skills is a milestone in personal development. Our old bathroom was not a very nice place to be (especially the smell) and individuals often needed a lot of encouragement to embark on the toileting adventure. Then one day we came into school and our wonderful clean, fresh dinosaur world was waiting to be explored. Dinosaur footprints to follow, toilets easy to flush, lots of bubbles from the soap machine and a hand dryer that makes a great dinosaur roar. Our little ones now feel so safe secure and happy amongst the dinosaurs we often have problems getting them out of there."

"Pupils' ownership and input to such an amazing design project has transformed their old, worn toilets into a respected and innovative space of which they are proud."

"The new toilets are SO much nicer!!! The children love them, especially those that had a hand in designing them! I actually want to use them myself!!! "

"The new loos are bright, welcoming and have lovely cheerful designs- which you just don’t expect in a toilet! It’s still a pleasant surprise when you go for a wee! It must be nice for the kids to see that we care about their environment even,  the toilets!"

"Our toilets are situated within the reception classroom. The previous toilets were dull, impractical and the smell from them was terrible, making for an intimidating and unpleasant experience for little children. The new toilets are colourful, more hygienic, easy for the youngest children to use and were designed specifically to meet our requirements. Children who were once afraid to go in the previous toilets are now willingly using the new ones."

"The new toilets are truly terrific and the children think so too. Involving the children in the design process has resulted in a real sense of ownership and they now have toilets that they want to use and take care of. A great addition to a great school."
